I grew up in Northumberland and obtained my dental degree from Sheffield Dental School in 1999.
On-going education has been a big focus throughout my career, and I have studied further to obtain additional knowledge and diplomas in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implantology and non-surgical aesthetic treatments. I also have an LLM Master's degree in Medical Law and work as a dental advisor for an indemnity organisation. Lately, I have completed a post-graduate diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy.
I joined The Briars in 2007 and love many aspects of dentistry. As such, I have never sought to focus on one particular field or niche as I would miss the variety dentistry allows. I particularly enjoy working with the team of skilled clinicians and specialists that we have at The Briars.
I provide treatments that include cosmetic and restorative dentistry, mainly involving Invisalign® and digital smile design, and non-surgical facial aesthetics.

First DSD Certified Clinic in England
The Briars Dental Centre is the first practice in England to be formally certified as a Digital Smile Design clinic — a recognition of complete adoption of the DSD methodology end-to-end.
The Briars Dental Centre has been established for over a century in Newbury — a longevity rare among modern private practices that gives The Briars deep roots in the local community.

Reception staff greet patients warmly and direct them to a comfortable, homely waiting room.
The dentist explains everything clearly and thoroughly, using technology to set patients' minds at ease. Time is taken to answer all questions. Nothing is rushed and patients are allowed to go at their own pace.
Following the consultation, a full written treatment plan with itemised costs is emailed to the patient. Follow-up bookings are made on the day where appropriate.

We have already captured most of it directly from your website. The confirmed answers below are condensed from your own site copy, please check the wording is accurate and sounds like you, then give us the handful of items we could not find. Once complete, the system speaks in your practice's real voice.
Nice-to-have: Dr Holden's formal qualifications timeline adds depth and authority to the welcome sequence if the practice would like to include it in its entirety.
